Middlesex to wit


The Information of John Morris< no role > of the
Parish of St. Mary Magdalen Bermondsey
in the County of Surry Carpenter taken on
Oath this 16th. day of May in the Year
of our Lord 1749. before Sir Samuel Gower< no role >
Knt. one of his Majesties Justices of the peace
of the County of Middlesex .

This Informant Saith that about Christmas last past
he was Seduced and prevailed upon by Samuel Jordan< no role >
then of Blackman Street Southwark And Mary Omer
of the same place to be Subscribing Witness to aforesd
Will pretended to be made by one John Denton< no role > formerly
a Gummer belonging to a Man of Warr and who had
been dead above a Year before (as this Informt. verily
believes) And that the said Samuel Jordan< no role > was the
person who wrote and counterfeited the name of
the sd. John Denton< no role > at the for or be [..] of the Sd.
pretended Will and put the Seal thereto, and the
sd. Mary Omer assisted him the sd. Jordan therein and brought
a Sheet of proper somewhat So'led to the sd. Jordan
& told him that would do, and Subscribed her
name as a Witness with this Deft. to the said
pretended Will and this was done in order to sett
aside the administration of the sd. deceassd 's Estate
and Effects that had been granted to Ann Walker< no role >
Widow the sd. deceassd's Sister (since marryed to
Richard Eales< no role > ) And to defeat and defrauded her
of Prize money that was due to the sd. deceased
