taken Before me this 23d. Day of June 1749
Sayeth that on Whensday the 14th Day of June 1749 that then David
Fenn< no role > was at Worek in his Room I Came to Make his bed and Desired him
to go out of the Room while I Made it he Said he Could not go out of the
Room Just then but told me to Stay a Litle while [..] he had Something
too Say to me and than beegan to ask me what furniture My Master
had in his Room I Said my Master had Nothing in the Room but what was
is own he Said that he Did beeleive so and he askt me what Sort of
furniture there was in the Room and I told him that thare was a bed
Witch My Master and Mistrs Laid a pon and a Nother Bed witch Lay a
Pon Two Chairs Tied up in a Street and a Table with Chairs and a
Cheet he Asked me it thare was Ever a Lock on the Chest and if
thare wass any Linnen in the Chest I Said I Could not tell but beleved,
thare was. he Asked me if thare was any Chere of Drawers and if there was any Locks on the Chest of Drawer
and if my Master and Mists. Linnen Lay in them and What [..] of linnen
I told this thare was no Locks on the Draws and that my Master and Mistrs
Linnen was very good he aske'd me where the Silver Tankard Stood
and the Silver Pint Mugg and if the kept them in a Closet below
Stairs I Said that they had no Closet below Stairs that the Tankard
and Pint Mugg allwaies stood on the Draws in the Chambber and
he than very mutch Importuned, me to see the Tankard Saying that
it was a very Prety one and that the was a going Two Ireland soon and
Wanted to buy Just catch a one and he askd. me where the Silver Sal [..]
and the pepper Box was kept I said below Stairs he askd me about
the four silver spoons that was made use of at his Brors, Christning
he Said the was very Prety ones and if they was kept below stairs
in the table Draw I said that two of them was alwaies kept below
but for the Other Two I Could not Just [..] tell where they where,
kept but Did Beeleive they was in the Table Draw above
