maketh Oath that an Saturday last he calling
and stopping at the Sign of the Bell at Vine Nall
in the Parish of Mount fields near Hastings in
Sussex [..] a Person came in an house back
to the sd House when after dismounting he
came into the [..] Room where this Deponent was
That after being there some time the Landlady
mentioning his this Deponents name the said
Person as third this [..] Deponent if he knew Richard
Mapesden

that he did the said Person told him this Deponent
that he was father in Law to him that he had
been about the CountrytoSubpeenor and had subpeenaed witnesses
for him for this Tryal, [..]

Boreham in Sussex Butcher & another from
Hastings, that the reason he did it wasthat
[..] his Daughter in Law Defendant's wife was Ill of
the Small Pox & that she was taken with it the
there last Tuesday

Baily in the Suburbs of the City of London
the Seventh day of July 1749.
