The Parish of St. John Wappin in Middx

St. Mary White Chappel in the sd. County

On an Appeal agt. an Order of
Settlemt. of John Baldwin< no role > & Sarah< no role > -
his Daughter.

Isaac Bunn< no role > Beadle of the Parish of St. John Wappin aforesaid maketh
oath that he this Deponent did Yesterday go to Mary Baldwin< no role > the
Mother of the said Pauper John Baldwin< no role > (with whom he ledged) to
Enquire for him in order to have brought him up this Day to
Attend the Tryal of this Appeal & was informed by her that her
sd. Son was in the London Hospital in Goodmans fields & that
his Tee was cutt off a few Days ago there. And this Deponent
further Saith that he went this Morning to the said Hospital &
Saw the said John Baldwin< no role > who informed this Deponent that
his Tee was cut off last Monday & that he was not able to Stir out
And this Deponent then went to Mr. Gifford the Steward of the
said Hospital who asked the opinion of one of the Surgeons of the
said Hospital whether it was Safe to Move the sd; John Baldwin< no role >
who in the presence & hearing of this Deponent did declare
that it was Not And Lastly this Depont. Saith that he did See
the Said Mr. Gifford Sign the Certificate hereunto annext.
