And this Examinant further Saith that of late he
together with the last mentioned Gang for three Nights
Comitted several Robberies in and about Islington
Edgwar & Harrors Roads on the last of which Nights
the said Murphy was taken and comitted to the
New
Prison
Clarken Well
And this Examinant further Saith that he this Examinant and the said
Dollar, Wood, Johnson, and Murphy, about Candlemas
last did Commit several Robberys between Greenwich
and London on Persons on foot as well a son horse
back and in particular on one Gentleman
from whom
they took a Small Sword and forty Shillings in
money and from another man on horseback from
whom they took his Watch the same Night
And this Examinant further saith that heard and the
said last mentioned Gang have of late comitted several
Robbery as in Ratclif
High Way St. Giles
Tybourn Road
and other Parts adjaceant and taken from several
Persons their Hatts Wiggs Buckels Shoes and other
things the Particulars of which he cannot relate they
haveing Slipped his Memory all which things have
been Destributed and Difrosed of amongst them
And this Examinant further Saith that about three
Weeks agoe he and the said Wood, Johnson, and Murphy
Stopped a Gentleman
near Cambray house
in the
Road that leads to Newington
from Islington
whose Name
is as he has since been Informed [..] De Laport from
whom they took a Gold Watch two Gold Rings one Sett
with Dymonds and the other with the Premess of Whates's
Pickler a Silver Hilted Hanger a Belt and a pair of Gold
Buttons Sett with Stones
