This Informant upon his Oath Saith That
between the Hours of Maud 12 last Night he was in
Company with William Howard< no role >
and walking along
St. Martins
Law Met with a Man whose Name is
unknown to this Informant and that the said William
Howard< no role >
as this Informant beleives by Accident tripped
against The Foot of the Said Person unknown or a
Stone upon which some Word ensued and they soon
ported. After they had parted this Informant and the
said William Howard< no role >
went on together as for as Duke's
Court where the said William Howard< no role >
Say'd to this
Informant I will go back and know the Reason why
Iam this Insulted in the Street, accordingly this
Informant and the said William Howard< no role >
returned back
and found the aforesaid Person unknown standing further
in the Passage than he was when this Informant and
the said William Howard< no role >
lest the said Person unknown
Upon which the said William Howard< no role >
sayd to the said
Person unknown what is the Reason Iam they insulted
in the Street the Person unknown thereupon knocked
at a Door in the Passage upon a which a Person in
an Officers Habit with a Shoulder Knot (but whether
the same was Silver or [..] Gold she this Informant can't tell)
and without a Hat came down the Stairs of the House
where the said Person unknown bed knocked at the Door
as aforesaid Whereupon the Person in the Officers Habit
collared William Howard< no role >
and Shaked him and [..]

asking the said Person in
the Officers Habit the reason why he Collared the said
