At the time & place appointed by our Summons on
the Information within written that is to say
this nineteenth day of October 1748 . at St. Giles's
in the Fields in the County of Middlesex , the within
nam'd Defendant appeareth & pleadeth, that he is
not guilty of the offence within mentiond; but
the same being now fully and duly proved, we do
convict him thereof: It is therefore now here
considerd and adjudg'd by us the said Justices,
that the said Defendant hath forfeited the
within mentiond sum of Twenty Pounds.
to be distributed as the Law directs. Given under
our hands at sd. Giles's aforesaid this nineteenth day
of October 1748 .
