the said Country This Tenth Day of October
in the Year of our Lord 1748
.
This informant on his Oath Deposeth & Saith
That on Saturday night last the Eight of this
instant
he was in Company with one who calls
herself Easther Bowler about the Space of one
Quarter of an hour during which time there was
Seven Shillings and Six pence privately stoln
from his person and This informant further
on his Oath Saith That he violently Suspects
that the said Easther Baxter< no role >
did privately and
feloniously Steal the same from his person as
aforesaid, there being no person in the Room
with him but the said Easther Baxter< no role >
during
the aforesaid Space and also she having propos'd
to make it up with him by paying him the
said Seven Shillings and Six pence at the Rate
of Six pence P week.
