[..] General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord
[..] g holden For the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John
[..] in the County aforesaid by Adjournment on Thursday the
[..] teenth day of October in the twenty First Year of the Reign
[..] our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain
[..] before Thomas Lane< no role > Peter Elers< no role > Thomas Moore< no role > John
[..] Lawton
< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of our Said Lord
the King assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid, and
also to hear & determine divers Felonys trespasses & other misdeeds
comitted in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the Parish
of St Gabriel in Fenchurch Street in the City of London have
Exhibited their Humble Petition & Appeal unto this Court
Setting Forth That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands & Seals of William Withers< no role > & Francis Hole< no role > Esquires
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace (Whereof one is of
the Quorum) For the County of Middx bearing Date the third
day of September one Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Seven
Alice Cropp< no role > a Lunatick was removed From the Parish of St.
Luke in the County of Middx to the Parish of St. Gabriel in
Fenchurch Street in the City of London Adjudging that to be
the last legal Place of Settlement of the said Alice Cropp, by
which Said Order of Removal the petitioners Apprehend
themselves Aggrieved and Humbly Appeal against the Same to
this Court Whereupon at the request of the Petitioners, it is
Order'd by this Court that the benefit of the Said Appeal be Saved
unto them And that the hearing and determining thereof
be And the Same is hereby Adjourned untill the next General
Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden For the Said County
of Middx And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the Said Parish of St Luke (upon Notice of this Order)
and all Persons Concerned do Attend the Court of the Said next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden For the
Same County by Adjournment on Wednesday the thirteenth
day of January next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon
to hear and Abide the Judgement & Determination of the
Same Court touching the Said Appeal
