Sheweth.
That your petitioner did by Articles of Agreement bearing
date the 16th. day of March 1746
. Covenant promise & agree with several of his Majesties
Justices of the peace
for the said County of Middx
in Consideration of the Yearly sum of
Nine pounds to be paid unto your Petitioner, well and substantially to repair amend and
maintain a certain Bridge called Brentford Bridge
with all manner of needfull and
necessary Reparations and Amendments when and as aften as necessary I shall be for the
Tenn of Eleven Years as by the said Articles will more fully appear
And that there is now due to your petitioner the sum of
Nine pounds for One Years Allowance from Michaelmas 1746 to Michaelmas 1747
Your petitioner therefore humbly prays your Worships
to order the payment of the said sum of Nine pounds.
And your petitioner shall ever pray Etc.
