Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the saidParish ofHamlett
of Rattcliffunto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCountyaforesaid,
That
Francis West< no role > , And his wife named Hannah < no role >
and Child Francis West< no role > aged about 21 Months
lately intrudedan Comeinto your saidParish ofHamlet
of Rattcliff
there to inhabit as Parishioners.contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and [..] Premisses
and also upon Oath and other Circumstances
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Francis West< no role > . And his wife Hannah and
Child Francis West< no role > Aged about 21 Months
like to become chargeable unto the saidParish ofHamlet of-
Rattcliffand that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidFrancis [..] as West Wife
and Childis in the said Parish of
St. Paul Shadwell in ye. County of Middx

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of theParish of
said Hamlet of Rattcliff aforesaid, that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidFrancis
West
< no role > his Wife Hannah & Child
from your saidParish ofHamlet of Rattcliff
to the said Parish ofSaint Paul
Shadwellandthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some of
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidFrancis West< no role > . Wife and Child
into their saidParish & Careand provide forthem
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
Fourteenth Day of June in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven -Hundred and Thirty Hour
