Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSt James
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Quorum unus) for theCounty of Middxaforesaid, ThatRichard
Wilkinson
< no role > Ann < no role > his wife & Ann < no role > their Child aged
About Eight Years Are
lately intrudedand Comeinto your said Parish of
St. James
there to habit asParishionerscontrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,and also upon
Oath
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Richard Wilkinson< no role > & Ann his wife & their said
Child are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt. James
and that the last legal Place of,
Settlement of the saidRichard Wilkinson< no role > & Ann his wife &
their said Childis in the said Parish of
St. Olave in the Old Jury

These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. James aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidRichard
Wilkinson
< no role > Ann his wife & their said Child
from your said Parish ofSt. James
to the said Parish ofSt. Olave in the
Old Juryandthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the saidRichard Wilkinson< no role > Ann his wife &
their said Child
into the saidParish & Careand provide forthem
as their own ParishionersThen under our Hands and Seals, the
8thDay ofMarchAnno ReguiDui Mr Georgy
