The Humble Petison & appeal of

Humbly Sheweth

That by an Order dated the 3d. day of December last under the Hands and
Seals of Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > & Nathaniel Booth< no role > Esqrs : two of his Maties. Justices
of the Peace for this County (Quor nuns) Your Peticoner is adjudged to be the
Putative Father of a Female Bastard Child named Martha< no role > lately born in the
Parish of St. Andrew Holborn above the Barrs in the said County of the body of
one Susannah Lamb< no role > Single woman And thereby Your Petr. is Ordered to pay
or cause to be paid unto the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the Said
Parish [..] some or one of them the sume of £2-10s-0d for the releife of the Sd. Format
Bastard Child for the first four weeks after the birth thereof and for the charge
of the Sd. Susannah Lambs< no role > lyeing in.

That your Petr. also shall weekly & every week after the exapiracon of the
Sd. first four weeks pay or cause to be paid to the Sd. Churcwarden &Overseers of
the Poor or to the Churchwarden & Overseers of the Poor of the Sd. Parish for the time
beinger their Successers moor one of them the sume (£0:2s-6d for & towards the
releife & maintenance of the Sd. Female Bastard Child for so long & at such times
as she shall be chargeable to the Sd. Parish untill she shall attain the Age of
Eleven years (if she shall so long live) at which time your Petr.Should pay or
cause to be paid to the Churchwarden & Overseers of the Poor of the Sd. Parish for
the time being to some or one of them the sume of £4-0s-0d for & towards the [..]
putting forth Apprentice the Sd. Female Bastard Child to some lawfull calling and
that your Petr. Should pay & discharge the Sd. Churchwarden & Overseers of the Poor
And the Churchwarden & Overseers of the Poor of the Sd. Parish for the time being
& every of them of & from all Debts damages & demands already demanded or
contracted or that may hereafter be demanded or contracted of or by them or either of
them for or by reason of the birth bringing upon maintaining the Sd. Female
Bastard Child in any Case whatsoever.

And Lastly that Your Peticoner should find Sufficient Sureties to the
Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the sd. Parish or to some or one of them
for the true performance of the Articles & Clauses contained in the Sd. Order
