To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofEaling als Tealing in the County of
Middlesex ; and to the Church-wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt. Michael Cornhill
in the City ofLondon .

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you, the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
ofEaling als Tealing unto us whole Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace (Quoruns
unus) for the County aforesaid, thatJohn Ward< no role > and Sarah< no role >
his wife wch. their three Young Children John< no role > ages about three
yeares Samuel< no role > aged about two Yeares & Sarah< no role > aged about Six weekes are
lately intrudedthemselvesinto your said Parish of
of Ealing als Tealing there to Inhabit asParishionerscontrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, andthat [..] are [..] here likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented. And where as up-
on due Examination and Enquiry made into the Premissesupon Oath
of the said John Ward< no role > it appears
unto us, and we accordingly Adjudge, That the saidJohn Ward< no role >
Sd Sarah< no role > his wife and their said three Children are
likely to become chargeable unto the said Parish ofEaling als
Tealing and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said
John Ward< no role > was in the said Parish of St. Michael
Cornhill in the City of London

THESE are there fore in his Majesties Name to Order and
Require you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish ofEaling als Tealing aforesaid, That you, or some
of you do forthwith remove and convey the saidJohn Ward< no role > Sarah< no role > his
wife & their said three Childrenfrom your said Parish ofEaling als Tealing
to the said Parish ofSt Michael Cornhill andthemdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, whereby they are like wife requir'd in his Majesties
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
to receive the saidJohn Ward< no role > , Sarah< no role > his wife & their said three Children
into their saidparish of St Michl Cornhill and provide forthem
as their own ParishionerGiven under our Hands and Seals, the
twenty Sixthday ofJanuaryAnno RegniDuil
