Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Michael
in Cornhill in London exhibited their humble Peticon and Appeale unto this [..]
Court at this present Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden for this
County by adjournment on Tuesday the Sixth day of Axril instant setting forth
That by Vertue of an Order or warrant under the hands and Seales of two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx (Quorum unus)
bearing date the Twenty Sixth day of January anno Dui One thousand
Seven hundred and twenty four John Ward< no role > and Sarah< no role > his Wife with three
young Children John < no role > aged about three years Samuel< no role > aged about two years
and Sarah< no role > aged about Six Weeks were removed from the Parish of Ealing
als pealing in the County of Middx to the said Parish of St. Michael Cornhill
in London alledging according to the Judgment of the said Justices the said
Parish to be the [..] Place of their last legall Settlement and that
the Petitioners conceiving themselves aggreived by the said Order or
Warrant of the said two Justices did appeale to this Court therefrom which
Appeale was appointed to be heard and determined by this Court on
this present Thursday the Eighth day of April instant And Councill on
both Sides now attending this Court It is by their Consent ordered by this
Court that the hearing and determining of the said Appeale be adjorn
untill the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden for
the said County of Middx and that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of both the said Parishes and all Persons concerned doe attend
the Court of the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden
for the said County of Middx by Adjournment on Tuesday the Twenty
ninth day of June next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to he [..]
abide the Judgment and Determination of the Same Court in [..]
the said Appeale
