Whereas it appeareth unto as two of his Maties Justices of the peace
for the said County of Middlx (Quor. unus) by the complaint of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. James
Clerkenwell in the said County That Elizabeth< no role > the wife of Humphrey
Hamilton
< no role > and her three Children (vizt) Mary< no role > aged about thirteen
years, William< no role > aged about Seven years, and James< no role > aged
year and upwards are lately come and intruded into the said
parish of St. James Clerkenwell endeavouring to gain a
settlement there contray to Law, And are likely to beco [..]
great charge to the said parish (if not Speedily prevented)
And Whereas upon the Examinacon of the said Eli [..]
Hamilton taken upon Oath it appears unto us that the
Humphrey Hamilton< no role > was last legally settledthein the pari [..]
St Giles in thr feilds in the said County, And that he has
Since obtained any legall settlement elsewhere Therefore [..]
the said Justices upon the proof aforesaid and other circumstance
Do adjudee and deem the place of the last legall settlement of the
Humphrey Hamilton< no role > to be in the said parish of St. Giles in the [..]
and whither the said Elizabeth< no role > his wife and his said three Children [..]
ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Maties Name Frictly to charge and
comand you and every of you forthwith upon Sight here
to remove and convey the said Elizabeth Hamilton< no role > and the [..]
[..] children (vizt) [..] Mary< no role > , William< no role > and James< no role > from
out of the said parish of St. James Clerkenwell in and to the [..]
parish of St.JamesGiles in the feilds and deliver them
(together with this precept) to the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the poor there or to some or one of them who are hereby
required to receive said provide for them according to have [..]
thereof [..] faile not at yor. perills. Given under our hands [..]
and Seales this fifteenth day of November in the fourth
year of the Reigne of King George over Great Britain Etc [..]
