To the right worshipfull his maties Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in the generall Quarter Sessions assembled

The humble Peticon & Appeale of the Church:
Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Alhallows Lombard Street in the City of London

Sheweth that by vertue of a Warrant under the hands & seals
of two of his Maties Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex (one being of the Quoh) bearing date the fourth day
of June last past an Infant therein called by the name of
Anne Gearing< no role > aged about nine or tenn months was removed
from the Parish of St Gyles Cripplegate in the County of
Middlesex to the said parish of Alhallows Lombard street
in the City of London alleadging the said parish is the place
of the last legal Setlement of John Gearing< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. who in the said
Warrant is called the father of the said Anne;

That yor. Peticonr. doubt not but to prove that the said
Anne had no legal Settlement in the said parish of
Alhallows Lombard Street in the City of London , whereby
they conceive themselves aggrieved by the Judgement of
the said two Justices, And doe humbly Appeale to
your Worships there from;

yor. Peticonr. therefore humbly pray yor. Worshipp
will be pleased to hear them in the Dr. Misses and
order the Church: Wardens & Overseers of the Poor
the sd. parish of st Gyles Cripplegate in the
County of Middlesex to appear here before you & hear
abide the determination of yor. Worships.
