The humble Petition of giles Quincy< no role >

Humbly Sheweth

That your Petr. was at the generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace held at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County
of Middx on Thursday the 13th. day of January last past Nominated
Elected and appointed governour and Keeper of the House of the
Correction at Clerkenwell in this County in the room and place of
Jeremy Bowman< no role > deced late governor and Keeper of the said House
of Correction to have hold Execute and Enjoy the said office or
Keeper of the said house of Correction with the like Sallary of
sixty pounds P Ann as was allowed to the said late Keeper to be
paid him according as this Court should Order and Direct.

That your Petr. has been governor and Keeper of the
said house of Correction and Executed and performed the said
Office for the space of six months at Midsumer last and hath
been at great Charges in maintaining and releiving the prisoners
Committed to his Custody.

Your Petr. therefore humbly prays your Worshipps
will be pleased to order the halfe yearly payment
of 30th. due at Midsumer last to be paid to be
your Petr. As to your worspps shall seem meet.

And your Petr. as in duty bound shall
ever pray etc.
