a satisfaccon of the Inhitants of the sd Libty in wch [..] the sd
Justices of the peace [..] prayed the opinion. of this Cort This
Cort [..] of opinion that the [..] sd Sabatier & Nash had noe power to make any encroachmt. into the Rwd. of Thamestherein exceeded
their authority as surveyors. of the high ways for the sd
Libty, and that they ought at then charge to abatethe sd
& remove the sd encroachmt. & reduce the staires in queen
to their former dimencons, and that the sd Sabatier & Nashpetrs.ought to
be reimbursed only, such sumes of money as they
have necessarily expended for the repair & support of the old staires according to their formeror was reasonable for them
dimencons
to lay out & expend to put the old staires in suffer repair
or make good any defects therein,And the Justices of

the peace for this County [..] teing within Holbourne Division aforesaid at their spiall Sess: to be held for [..] the sd Division are hereby, desired to
take to their assistance [..] as they shall this Court and to take [..] give order that the sd staires be reduced to their form inquire & take a estimate of the val of the sd reprs. and to give Order that the pet. be reimbursed
[..] shall appr. to be justly due to them for the necessary repaire & amendmt. of the sd staires
dimencons & put into suffict repair, sd. Jon. Sabatier< no role > & Jeffery Nash< no role > [..] be allowed such sumes as they have or shall expend for
