Gen is duodecimo die Octobr 1711

Upon the Appeale of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor parish of St Pancrass in this County of
Midds against an Ordermadedated the 16th day of
July last under the hands and Seales of John Metcalfe< no role >
& Alexander Wards< no role > Esqrs two of her Maties Justices of
the peace for the Said County (quor unus) whereby
one Elizabeth Briscoe< no role > within wife of Nathaniel Briscoe< no role >
(who was not then to be found) with her four Children
John Briscoe< no role > aged about twelve years, Mary Briscoe< no role >
aged about nine years, Hanna Briscoe< no role > aged about
Seaven years, and Sarah Briscoe< no role > aged about three
years and a halfe who were become Chargeable to
the parish of St Andrew Holborne in the Liberty
above the Barrs in this County were removed from
the Said Liberty and parish to the Said parish of St
Pancrass as the place of the last Settlement of the
Said Nathaniel Briscoe< no role > husband to the Said Eliza< no role > &
father to the Said four Children And upon heaving of
the Appeal in the presence of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of both places and what was
alledged by Councell on both Sides and examinacon
of Sevall Wittnesses upon Oath Itt appeared to this
inter this Court that the Said Nathaniel Briscoe & his Said wife & four Children had noe legall Settlement in the Said parish of St
Pancrass, This Court doth therefore allow of the Said appeale and vacate and discharge the Said
recited order of the Said two Justices and doth order that the SaidNathanielElizabeth wife of his Nathaniel Briscoe< no role > , [..]
