Upon hearing of the appeale of Samuel Bolton< no role > against an
Order bearing date the second day of July last under
the hands & seales of Bastwick Johnson < no role > & Thomas
Frampton
< no role > Esqrs . two of her Maties. Justices of the peace
for the County of Middx (Quorums) resideing
next unto the parish Church of the parish of St. Dunstans
[..] Stebonheath als Stepney in the sd County
who thereby adjudged the sd Samuel Bolton< no role > by
(therein called by the name of Samuel Bolton< no role > who
lives in wattling street in the City of London Mercer )
to be the only Father of [..] a female bastard
child, of which Martha Paine< no role > Singlewoman was
on the eighteenth day of June last delivered in that
part of the parish of St. Dunstans Shoredtich als
Stepney called or Knowne by the name of the hamlett
of Wapping Stepney , (wth. child was become chargeable
to the sd hamlett) And thereby Ordered the sd Samuel
Bolton
< no role > to pay or cause to be paid unto the Churchwardn.
or Overseers of the poor of that part of the sd parish of
Stebonheath als Stepney called the hamlett of wapping
Stepney or to some or one of them the same of two
pounds seventeen shillings & six peace of lawfull
money of Great Britain on Demand, the Sd sume
being [..] disburst & paid by the Said
Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor for the keeping
& maintaining of the Sd Martha Paine< no role > & the Said
