December 1799.

By adjournment same Day

Resolved That the Kitchen Fire place at
the House of Correction in Cold bath fields be Viewed
by the Committee and that they give the necessary
directions for having the same put in good Order.

By adjournment same Day.

It having been stated to the Court That
Mr.. Wright the High Constable for Edmonton
hundred had served more than 3. Years and
the following Certificate being Read Vizt..

"At a Petty Session held at Enfield this
"18th. day of November 1799."

"It appearing to the Magistrates present at this
"Meeting that William Wright< no role > of Edmonton Butcher
"the present High Constable for that hundred has tan
"near Seven Years in Office and has lately very much
"neglected the Duties of his Office We do therefore
"recommend it to the Magistrates assembled at the
"Quarter Sessions of the peace for the County of Middx.
"to appoint John Lorke of Edmonton aforesaid
"Gentleman in his stead as Witness our Hands

"G; W; Prescott
"William Coleman< no role >
"Ed". Mason< no role >
"E. R. Mores".

Resolved That the said William Wright< no role > be
directed to attend the court on the County Day of
the next Session in Consequence of some suggestions
of neglect of Duty by him in the Execution of his
Office of High Constable.
