very prevalent in and about the Metropolis, I have
Gentlemen the Honor to be Your Devoted Servant

Thomas Webb< no role > , Surgeon to the Prisons.

Decr.. 4th.. 1799.

Resolved That it be recommended to the several
Magistrates acting for this County not to send to the
House of Correction in Cold Bath fields any Prisoner
Committed for re-examination and that Felons
when committed for Trial be sent in the first
Instance to the County Goal of Newgate .

By adjournment same Day

It having been stated to the Court that a
Paragraph had appeared in One of the Daily Papers
relative to a Person of the Name of Cantrill a< no role >
Prisoner late in the House of Correction since
sent to Tothill fields Bridewell , Resolved That
Mr.. Hanbury to Apothecary to that Prison be
desired to Attend this Court to Morrow at One
o' Clock.

Resolved That Mr.. Aris be directed to
enquire as to the Allowance stated to be made
by Government to the Mutineers in the County
of Survey and lay the result of his Enquiry before
the next court.

By adjournment same Day:

The following Report of the Prison Committee
being laid before the Court and Read Vizt..
