At the General Quarter Session of the
peace of our Lord the King holden in and for
the county of Middlesex at the Session house
for the said County (by adjournment) on
Thursday the Thirty first day of October in
the Fortieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Third King of Great Britain

Mr.. Aris the Governor of the House of
Correction attended and stated to the Court that he
had been arrested at the suit of one William Brown< no role >
who had been a Prisoner in his Custody for Moniest
which he had Paid for the use of a Room Bed Etc.
and which had been Accounted for to the County.

Resolved That Mr.. Aris be desired to defend
the Action and if it appears to be for Money accounted
for and paid to the County that he be Indemnified

By adjournment same Day

A Memorial from the County of Stafford
being laid before the Court relative to an Application
to Parliament on the Subject of County Bridges

Resolved That the Clerk of the peace do acquaint
the Clerk of the peace for the County of Stafford that the
