By adjournment same Day.

The County Treasurer having laid before the Court a
State of the Account of the several High Constables. Ordered
That Mr.. William Wright< no role > the High Constable of the Tower
Division and Mr.. Robert Jones< no role > the High Constable of
Westminster Division Do attend this Court on Saturday
next at One o'Clock with an Account of the Deficiencies
of the several Parishes now in Arrear.

By adjournment same Day.

The Report of the Prison Committee being again
Read. - It was Moved and Seconded That Richard
Berry the Smith be Discharged and that the Smiths
Work in the House of Correction be Discontinued till
the next Meeting of the Prison Committee Carried
Unanimously in the Affirmative.

It was also Moved and Seconded That
the Prison Committee be empowered to Cause the
Materials in the Smiths Shop in the House of
Correction to be Worked up or disposed of in such other
manner as the said Committee shall think proper
upon the question being put it was Carried in the
Affirmative 10. for and 3. against it.

Ordered That it be referred to the Prison
Committee to Consider what are the Duties of the
Clerk to the House of Correction how far the present
Clerk is Capable of Executing the Office and what
Salary ought to be Allowed to such Clerk.

Ordered That it be also referred to the
Prison Committee to Enquire into the manner in
which the Broth is delivered to the Prisoners in
the House of correction and what Quantity of Meat
is delivered to each Prisoner in such Broth.
