That the whole of these Demands amount to Three hundred and
Eighty four Pounds two Shillings and Three pence farthing and the Charges
in the said several Bills and Demands appearing to Your Committee to be
just and true It is their Opinion that the same ought of forthwith
to be paid

And the said Committee further Report

That in pursuance of the Order of Reference to them made at
the last Session Vizt. " To appoint a Baker to serve the Prisoners in New
"Prison and the House of Correction at Clerkenwell with Bread instead of
"William Watherston< no role > the present Baker " they have considered a proposals
of Mr Thomas Aris< no role > of Rosamond Street Clerkenwell offering to serve the
Prisoners in the said Prison with the best Wheaten bread that can be made
(in such manner as shall be directed) allowing a Discount of 7 P Cent
upon the Money to be received by him and the Committee being satisfied
with the Character of the said Mr Aris Your Committee recommend it
to the Court to appoint the said Thomas Aris< no role > to serve the Prisoners in the
said Prisons with Bread until the next Session

All which the Committee Submit Etc.

Resolved that the said Report be received and confirmed and
That the Clerk of the peace do forthwith issue the proper Orders upon the
Treasurer of this County for the payment of the several sums therein
mentioned amounting to £384..2..3

By adjournment same day

Resolved that Thomas Aris< no role > be appointed Baker in the stead of
William Watherston< no role > , and that he be permitted to serve the Prisoners
in the New Prison at Clerkenwell and the House of Correction there with
Bread until the County day of the next Sessions.
