"As the Society Quakers stand only at the small Rent of £4
"P Annum exclusive of what attends supporting and keeping the old
"Building in Repair the expence of which added to the £4 P Annum
"I am of opinion will annually amount to £50 more In all £54
"And as it will be attended with the expence of at least £4000 to
"accommodate them with a new Building 35 Years sooner than
"they needed to lay out that Sums.

"The Consideration of having a never Building than the
"present Old Building and of its duration after the expiration of the 35
"Years and on the other hand being obliged to lay out the Money to
"long a time before it would be needed by them I am of opinion £2000
"may be fairly asked by them for their Interest in the said Lease as
"the Society will be at greater charge in fixing themselves in a proper
"Building for their use:

"The consideration of the request of the Justices being made
"for a publick good and not for any private Benefit The Society may
"possibly be inclined to lessen their demand to about £1600 which
"Sum I apprehend the Justices cannot reasonably refuse paying
"them considering the trouble and expence the Society will be put
"to in getting another convenient place.
