My Lords

The very great Deficiency of Men in the Regiments of
Infantry being so very detrimented to the public Service, The King has
thought proper to give the Names of the Different Countice to the Old Corps
in hopes that by the Zeal and Activity of the principal Nobility and
Gentry in the several Counties some considerable assiss [..] may be
given towards recuriting these Regiments As this is apoint of the
utmost publick importance. His Majesty has not doubt of your S [..]
using your utmost influence among your Friends for the Accomplishment
of it.

The King has been pleased to appoint the 57th. Regiment to
the County of Middlesex (West) and to bear its name.

Ordered that the said Letters be entered among the Orders and
proceedings of this Court:

The several Accounts following of Demands made upon this County
being laid before this Court Vizt.

A Bill of William Herbert< no role > for business Lone for the County of Middlesex
relating to their Estates.

A Bill of the said William Herbert< no role > Clerk to the Committee appointed to
carry into immediate and effectual Execution the Repair of New prison
and Clerkenwell Bridewell .

A Bill of Charles Eyles< no role > for business done for the County of Middlesex
relating to their Estates.

into immediate and effectual Execution the Repair of New prison and
Clerkenwell Bridewell .

A Bill of the said Charles Eyles< no role > Clerk to the Committee appointed to take
into consideration the Claims and Demands of Mr. Richard Akerm< no role > [..]
in respect to Fees supposed to be due to him for the discharge and
acquittal of certain persons in his Custody.

It is Ordered that the said Accounts be and they are
hereby referred to the Committee appointed at the last Session of the peace
for the said County to inspect and methodize the accounts of the Treasurer
