Edward Gray< no role > and Thomas Brooksbank< no role > Esquires to examine and Audit
the same and when the said Committee shall have examined and audited
the same they are hereby authorized to draw upon the Treasurer of this County
for any Sum or Sums of Money in discharge of the said Demands not
exceeding one half of the Amount of the said Demands and the
Treasurer of the said County is hereby authorized and required to pay to
the Order of the said Committee or Day three of them such Sums of Money
as they shall draw for as aforesaid

By adjournment same day.

Mr. John Benson< no role > the Treasurer for this County having informed
the Court that at the time of his appointment to the Office he entered into
a Bond himself in the Penalty of £1000 together with James Esdaile< no role > Esqr.
now Sir James Esdaile Knt. and Jonathan Chadwick Durden Esqr.
as Sureties in the further Sum of £500. To be accountable for the several
and respective Sums of Money which should be paid to the said John
Benson
< no role > as such Treasurer that the said Jonathan Chadwick Durden
Esqr. lately departed this Life and that he the said John Benson< no role > was
willing to give his own Bond in the penalty of £1000 for the like
purposes and that Sir James Esdaile< no role > would be his Surety in the Sum
of £500 and Sir James Esdaile being now here and consenting.
This Court doth approve thereof as a sufficient Security in this Behalf.
And it is thereupon Ordered that Mr. John Benson< no role > do give Bond
for the like purposes in manner aforesaid.
