Mr. Colepeper
to whom the treating for a provisional purchase
of the Ground and building belonging to Mr.
Heaton Wilkes< no role >
situate near
Saint John's Square
and the making the necessary agreements in
respect to the same was referred on the County day of the last Session
having reported that there had been a misunderstanding concerning
the price of the same Mr. Wilkes now insisting on £3300 for the same
premises which Mr. Colepeper before apprehended Mr. Wilkes had
offered for £2500 It was moved and Seconded that the Court do
dismiss the Consideration of any further Treaty with Mr. Wilkes
concerning the premises and that Mr. Wilkes have notice thereof
and the same is agreed to and ordered by the Court accordingly
By adjournment same day
Mr. Robinson of Clerkenwell Green
having delivered in a plan
of a piece of Ground situate near the said Green-called a Plan of the
Nags head Tavern
and houses adjacent which he imagines may be
Easily procured and readily appropriated to the Use of the Justices
for the Erection of a New Session House for this County but not
being present to Explain the said Plan or inform the Court of the
necessary particulars respecting the same A Motion was made and
Seconded that
