Upon Reading the humble Petition of
William Wade< no role >
of Mill Hill
one of the High Constables of the Hundred of Gore Thereby alledging that
he was appointed one of the High Constables of the said Hundred about
a year ago but that by Reason of his Lameness and Age which is
upwards of Sixty three, he finds himself unable to execute the said
Office either to his own Credit or the Service of the Publick, And that
he has settled the County Rate with the Treasurer And therefore prays
that he may be discharged from his said Office And this Court being
satisfied in the premisses doth appoint

in the Hundred aforesaid to be High Constable within
the said Hundred in the Place and Stead of the said
William Wade< no role >
And
this Court doth Order that the said
Joseph Gee< no role >
do forthwith on Notice
hereof attend one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County
residing in or near the said Hundred and take his Oath for the due
Execution of his said Office And from and after the said

's
having taken such Oath the said
William Wade< no role >
is to stand absolutely
discharged from the said Office.
