"The Report of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
"for the said County who met as a Committee at Hicks
"Hall on Saturday the Seventh day of this Instant
"May in pursuance of an Order of Court made in the
"last Sessions for taking into Consideration a
"Representaition of his Majestys Justices therein
"setforth concerning the Establishing a Rotation for
"the Dispatch of Publick Justice in each Division of
"Ossulston Hundred

"Your Committee look into Consideration the above mentioned
"Proposal and came to a Resolution to carry same into Execution
"with all convenient Speed being of Opinion that it will be both a great
"Ease as well to the Magistracy as to the Publick in General if attended to.
'And Robert Pell< no role > Esquire in the name and with Authority from the
'Majority of the Gentlemen acting in the Tower Division informed the
'Committee that they had already formed and agreed upon a Rotation of
'two Justices to meet and sit at the Tower Court House or some other
'convenient place within that Division daily (Sundays excepted) from
'Eleven in the Forenoon till three in the Afternoon And that the said Mr:
'Pell and Christopher Scott< no role > Lister Selman< no role > William Caslon< no role > John Smart< no role >
'Robert Darling< no role > and Richard Hare< no role > Esqrs . there present had agreed to
'meet at the Sign of the Angel and Crown in White Chapple on the
'Wednesday following being the Twelfth day of this Instant to carry
'to carry the above mentioned proposal into Execution.

'The Justices acting in the Division of Finsbury (three of them only
'being present at the said Comittee there being but few Justices residing
'within that Division that have as yet qualifyed themselves) Did then
'propose to meet at Hicks Hall (being the most proper Place for the
Dispatch of Business arising within that Division as your Comittee
'apprehended) on the Wednesday following for the first time in Order
'to fix the Rotation and did intend to acquest the Concurrence of the other
'Gentlemen in that Division who were not then present and also of those
'who are named in the said Commission and have not yet taken the
'Oath for Qualification The Justices there present at Your Committee
'were Joseph Kieling< no role > Benjamin Cowley< no role > and John Spencer< no role > Colepeper Esqrs .

'For Holborn Division Thomas Owens< no role > Esqr . proposed the Sitting by
'Rotation at the Workhouse belonging to the Parish of Saint Andrew
'Holborn near Grays Inn Lane or any other place that should be thought
more.
