A Bill of Mr. Henry Wallis< no role > for Bricklayers Work by him done at
New Prison and the House of Correction of Clerkenwell in this County
amounting to the Sum of twenty four pounds eight shillings and three pence
And it appearing unto this Court by Writing under the hands of Bartholomew
Hammond and George Greene< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace for the said County that they have examined the said Bill and that
the same is just and right It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John
Higgs Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of twenty four pounds
eight shillings and three pence unto the said Mr. Wallis in full of his
said demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient
Discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this
County do pay into Mr. Richard Jupp< no role > the Sum of fifty nine pounds
seven shillings and seven pence in full of his Bill for Carpenters
Work done to the Middx part of Chertsea Bridge and that the Receipt
of the said Mr. Jupp together with this Order shall be a sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

Where as Thomas Franklin< no role > one of the High Constables within the
Hundred of Gore in the County of Middx exhibited his humble petition
unto this Court Setting forth That the petitioner has served the Office of
High Constable for near three years And that the Petitioner has paid
and discharged all County Rates to the Treasurer of this County And
that the petitioner has Business that will present his Attendance
in the said Office And the Petitioner therefore humbly prayed this
Court to discharge him from the said Office This Court being satisfied of
the truth of the premisses doth appoint Joseph Haley< no role > of Gutters
Hedge in the said County Gent and within the Hundred aforesaid to be
Hundred aforesaid to be High Constable for the said Hundred in the place
and stead of the said Thomas Franklin< no role > And doth Order that the said
Joseph Haley< no role > do forthwith (after Notice of this Order) attend one of his
Majestys Justices of the peace of this County residing in or near the said
Hundred and take his Oath Before such the said Justice for his due Execution of
the said Office of High Constable within the said Hundred And from and
after the time of his having take such Oath the said Thomas Franklin< no role > is to
stand absolutely discharged from being High Constable for the Hundred aforesaid
