On Monday the twentieth day of February 1758 .

Order for appointing Mr.
John Dewsell< no role > High Constable
within the Hundred of Gore
in the place of Mr. Daniel
Hawkins.

Whereas Daniel Hawkins< no role > Gent one of the High Constables of the Hundred
Gore in this County exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court Setting forth
That the Petitioner has served the Office of High Constable for the Space of three
years and upwards and has paid and discharged all the County Rate money to the
Treasurer and therefore prayed to be discharged from is said Office This Court
being satisfied of the Truth of the premes doth Order that the said Daniel
Hawkins be and he is hereby discharged from laid said Office of High Constable
And this Court doth appoint John Dowsell< no role > of the Hamlet of Pinner in the said
County Gent and within the Hundred aforesaid to be High Constable for the same
Hundred in the place and stead of the said Daniel Hawkins< no role > and doth Order
that the said John Dowsell< no role > do attend this Court on Friday next at ten of the
Clock in the Forenoon and then and there take his Oath for the due Execution
of the said Office of High Constable within the Hundred of Gore aforesaid.

By adjournment on Thursday the twenty third day of February 1758

Comee to attend on

Assize of bread.

Peace for the County of Middx be and they are hereby appointed a Comittee
to attend the Committee of the Honourable House of Commons upon the
Bill now depending in the said House for settling the Assize of Bread.
