William Pentlow< no role > his Executors or Administrators do and shall from time to time well
and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the Sheriff of the said County for the time
being or his Agent for the use of his now Majesty King George the second his
Heirs and successors all such sum and sums of money as have been or shall be
Imposed and set for any Fine or Fines by any of the Justices of the Peace for
the said County Assembled at any of their General or General Quarter Sessions
of the Peace held within the said County on any Prisoner or Prisoners Committed
or to be Committed to the Custody of the said William Pentlow< no role > as keeper of the
said Prison for any Offence or Offences by them Committed and which Shall
or, without his or their wilfull default may at any time or times be received
by him or his servant or servants during such time as the said William
Pentlow Shall Continue Keeper of the Said Prison and do and Shall like will
from time to time well and truly Account with and pay unto the sd. Clerk of the
Peace of the said County for the time being or his Deputy all such Fees as
the said William Pentlow< no role > or his Respective servant or servants shall or
without his or then wilfull default may during the time he shall Continue
Keeper of the said Prison received for the use of such Clerk of the Peace of
any Prisoner or Prisoners Committed or to be Committed to the said Prison
And that when ever the said William Pentlow< no role > shall be Displaced removed or
Discharged from the siad office or Employment of Keeper of the said
Prison by the Justices of the peace of the said County or the Major part
of them That then the said William Pentlow< no role > shall forthwith peaceably
deliver up and quilt the Posession of the said Prison and the Dwelling house
and Buildings thereto belonging and the said Garden Orchard and other the
Appurtenances together with the Prisoners Committed to his custody as
Keeper of the said Prison and then remaining undischarged to such other Person
or Persons as shall be by the Justices of the Peace of the said County or the
Major part of them Elected Chosen Nominated and Appointed to be Keeper
of the said Prison in the Stead and Place of him the said William Pentlow< no role >
And also that he the said William Pentlow< no role > do forthwith enter into a Bond
or Obligation himself in the sum of two hundred pounds and two Suretys
each in one hundred pounds unto Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire George Cooke< no role >
Esquire Lake Robinson< no role > Esquire and Henry Butler< no role > Pacey Esquire Justices
of the peace for the said County with such Condition as is above written
