of Law, and also that the said William Pentlow< no role > do and shall Yearly
during the time he shall be and Continue Keeper of the said Prison
pay the Yearly sum of thirty pounds of Lawful money of
Great Britain in Manner of Following (to wit) ten pounds a year
part thereof unto the Matron of the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in the said County for the time being untill further
order of the Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace
for the said County to the Contrary for and towards her support
and maintenance by Quarterly payments (to wit) at
Michaelmas, Christmas, Lady day and Midsummer by
Equal portions, the frist payment thereof to be made at
Michaelmas as next and also that the said William Pentlow< no role >
do and shall from time to time during his being keeper
of the said Prison at his Charge do or Cause to be done
the small repairs necessary to be done to the said Prison
and the Dwelling house thereto belonging (to wit) scowring
employing, leanseing and glazeing and also that he the said
William Pentlow< no role > do and shall Yearly during the time he
shall continue Keepers of the said Prison also pay the sum
of twenty pounds a year residue of the said sum of thirty
pounds a Year to the Treasurer of the said County for the
time being by Quaterly payments (to wit) at Michaelmass
Christmas, Lady day and Midsummer aforesaid by Equal
portions (the first payment thereof to be also made at
Michaelmas next for the doing of grand or other repairs
to the said prison and Dwelling house if the Court of
General or Quarter sessions of the Peace for the Said County
shall find such repairs necessary to be done or otherwise
the said sum of Twenty pounds a Year to be subject to the
Order of the Court touching the Disposal thereof and in
Case the Court of General or Quarter sessions of the peace
for the said County shall order and Direct the said sum of
twenty pounds a year to be paid to any other person or
persons That then he the said William Pentlow< no role > do and
Shall from time to time well and truly pay the same
unto such person or persons and in such Manner as
shall be so ordered and directed, And that He the said
