and allow that there is due to the Said Edward Chandler< no role > thereupon the
aforesaid Sum of £4.13s.6d. It is thereupon Ordered by this Court that Mr.
John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay unto the Said Edward
Chandler the Said Sum of four Pounds thirteen Shillings and Six Pence in
full of the Moneys due to him upon the Said Account, whose Receipt
together with this Order Shall be a Sufficient Discharge to the Said
Treasurer for Such payment.

By adjornment on Thursday the 10th. Day of September, 1747 .

Order for Committee to

Vere for Business done in

Liberty of Westmr.}

Information being given unto this Court that a Bill was Some time Since
delivered by Mr. Benjamin Vere< no role > for Business by him alledged to be done
and for Moneys by him laid out by direction of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of
the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster in the year 1744
amounting to the Sum of Six Pounds and Nine Shillings, and that the
Said Mr. Vere desireth that Order may be given for the payment
thereof. It is Ordered by this Court that it be, And It is hereby
recomended and referred into the Same Committee of Justices of
the Peace of this County (to whom the Consideration of the late Act of
Parliament for preventing the excessive increase of Horse Races
Stands referred) or any three of them to inspect the Said Bill, and
to See if the Sums therein charged are reasonable, and Such as
ought to be allowed and paid, And to make their Report touching
the Premises to the Court of General Quarter or General Sessions
of the Peace for this County.

relieving of Vagrants}

It is ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended &
referred to the Same Committee of Justices of the Peace (to whom the
Consideration of the late Act of Parliament for preventing the
excessive increase of Horse Races is referred) or any three of them
to inspect the Certificates of Allowances given by any Justice or Justices
of the Peace of this County to any Constable or Constables or other Peace
Officers within the Said County for their Trouble & Expences in passing
and relieving of Vagabonds & Vagrants, And to examine if Such
Vagabonds & Vagrants were regularly passed, and if the Said Allowance
