Order appointing Mr. Tho:
Buckstone to be High Constable
within the Hundred of Edmonton
in the place & Stead of Mr.
Thomas Curtis< no role > .}

Upon the humble Petition of Thomas Curtis< no role > Gent . High
Constable within the Hundred of Edmonton in this County
Exhibited unto this Court Setting forth that he hath Served
the Said Office of High Constable for three years & upwards,
And that he hath paid to the Treasurer of this County all Moneys
reced by the Petitioner which was payable to the Said Treasurer
And that he hath discharged his Duty in the Execution of his
Office, And the Petitioner therefore prayed this Court to
discharge him from the Said Office of High Constable, This
Court being Satisfied of the truth of the Premisses Doth appoint
Thomas Buckstone< no role > of the Parish of Enfield within the Said
Hundred of Edmonton in this County Gent . to be High Constable
within the Said Hundred of Edmonton in the place and Stead
of the Said Thomas Curtis< no role > , And doth Order that the Said Thomas
Buckstone do forthwith (after notice given to him of this Order)
attend William Underwood< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices
of the Peace for the Said County residing in or near the Said
Hundred or Some other Justice of the Peace residing in or near
the Same Hundred, And that the Said Thomas Buckstone< no role > do
forthwith take his Oath before the Said William Underwood< no role > Esqr.
or other Justice as aforesaid for his due Execution of the Office
of High Constable within theSaidHundred of Edmonton aforesaid,
And from and after the time of his having taken Such Oath
the Said Thomas Curtis< no role > is to Stead absolutely discharged
from being High Constable within the Same Hundred.
