And this Court doth Order and require That every High Constable in
the Said County of Middlesex do on before the 15th. day of July next demand
in Writing the Sum of Money rated and assessed in the aforesaid Rate upon
each Town Parish of Place in his Division or District of the Church-
-wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Same Town Parish or place
or any of them who are hereby required out of the Money Collected or to be
Collected for the relief of the Poor of Such Parish of Place to pay Such
Money So rated and Assessed thereupon in the Said Rate unto Such High
Constable within the Space of thirty Days after Demand So made thereof
in Writing to be given to the Said Churchwardens Chappel wardens or
Overseers of the Poor or any of them, And every High Constable in the
Said County is here by required at or before the next General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace for this County after he Shall have received Such
Sum or Sums of Money to pay the Same into the Hands of John Higgs< no role > Gent .
residing in Southton Buildings in the Said County of Middx who is
Treasurer of this County he having formerly given Security by Bond to be
accountable for the Several Sums of Money which Shall be paid to him
in pursuance of the Said Act of Parliament and for his payment of Such
Money as Shall be ordered to be paid by the Justices of the Peace for this
County in their General or Quarter Sessions And in Case the
Churchwardens Chappel Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of any
Town Parish of Place above mentioned or any of them Shall
neglect or refuse to pay the Sum of Money assessed there upon in the
Said Rate within thirty Days after demand made as aforesaid the
High Constable of the Hundred Division of District in which Such
Town Parish or Place So assessed do lye, is by the Said Act of
Parliament in powered and he is here by required to levy the Same by
Distress and Sale of the Goods and Chattels of Such Churchwardens
Chappelwardens or Overseers of the Poor or any of them So refusing or
neglecting to pay the Same as aforesaid by Harrant under the Hands &
Seals of two or more Justices of the Peace of the Said County residing in or
near Such Parish or Place rendring the Over plus if any there be after
deducting the Money assessed and the Charges of the Distress & Sale to the
Owner or Owners thereof, And the High Constables Churchwardens
Chappelwardens & Overseers of the Poor in the Said County are not to foil
of performing the Matters & things above mentioned enjoyned them by this
Order in pursuance of the Said Act of Parliament under the Penalties
contained in the Said Act.
