following Defects or Wants of Reparations, That is to Say,
In the Workshop the Steps & Floor of the Door, the
Brick work, & peers of the Windows, the Luthing &
plaistering are much out of Repair. In the
Whipping Room, That there wants a New Door
Lock and Key the Joyces to be made Good & Floor
mended & the Ceiling to be lathed plaistered & Whitened
In the Lodging Rooms for the men that there wants a New Door
The Floor & Severall of the Iron Wickets to the Mens
Ward Doors to be repaired & the Cieling to be Whitened
In the Womens Beet-Ward That Iron Barrs to the
Windows are wanting in this & the Mens-Ward &threethe
Frames of the Windows & the Partition between the
Mens & Women's Wards want to be repaired, That a
Lock and Key & Iron Spikes are Wanting to the Stairs
foot Door, And the sill of the Door & Floor of the
Entry or Passage & the Cellar Stairs are out of Repair
In the Taphouse That there wants new Frames for
the Windows, with Iron Work to be new Glazed & leaded
the Floor & Hearth are out Repair. In the Inner
Common Ward Below, That there wants a new Brick
Wall to be carried quite up from the Bottom to the Top
of the prison for its better Security and to part Bridewell
from New prison , That the Floors of this & the Adjoyning
Common Ward, the Lathing plaistering of the Brick
work of the Outer Door are out of Repair, The Tyling
of the prison to be Repaired & Leaden Gulcers and
Roof to be Repaired. In the Prison Yard, The
Floor and Door of the necessary house are out of
Repair, And a Cover to the Seat is Wanting, The
Brick Work round the Water Cock is much out of Repair
That a New Fence quite Cross theKitchenPrison Yard is
Necessary to be two feet higher than the old. One with
a good strong Lock and Key thereto, And Strong Iron
Spikes of a Larger Dimension and Longer than the
present, And the old necessary house belonging to
the Keeper on the out side of the said old Cross fence
to be pulled down and a New One Erected; In the
Keeper's house , That the Kitchen wants to be
Whitened and the Windows Repaired with a New Sill
& Lock to the Doors, In the Passage & Cellar
The Brick Floor to be Repaired A new Door Case
