with which they are intrusted, which is and tends to
the manifests prejudice of a great many of his Maties
Subjects, It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is
hereby recomended & referred unto his Maties Justices
of the peace for this County residing within the respective
Divisions in the Same County not to grant any licence
or licences to any person or persons keeping a Chandlers
Shop or Shops to Sell any Brandy, Strong waters or distilled
liquors by retail, to the intent that the mischeif aforesaid
may be prevented for the future, and to the end that
publique notice may be had of this Order It is further
Ordered by this Court that a copy of this Order be left
with each high Constable in this County who is hereby
required to cause notice to be forthwith given of the
Same to all the Justices of the peace and alsoe to all
the Chandlers (who Sell Brandy, Strong waters or
distilled liquors by retail) residing within the District
of Such high Constable,

Information being given unto this Court by philip
Willshire Esqr. one of his Maties. Justices of the peace for this
County that at a Generall Meeting of the Justices of the
peace of this County residing within the Tower Division
in the Said County holden on the nineteenth day of
September last at Whitechappell Court house in and for
the Same Division for the licensing Retailers of Brandy
and other distilled liquors and of Inn keepers and
Ale house keepers in pursuance of the late Act of
parliament made in the Second year of his present
Maties. reign the Clerk of the peace of this County received
two, shillings and Six pence as his fee for each
