Market and of his Deputys or Agents in relation
to any Sume or Sumes of Money by him them or
any of them unlawfully received of any Person or
Persons under Colour of his said Office, And to
Certify an Account in Writing of their Proceedings
touching the Premisses unto the Court of Generall
Quarter or Generall Sessions of the Peace for this
County, As also to consider of the most proper and
effectuall Methods to prevent and put an end to
the oppressions of his Majestyes Subjects dwelling
within this County under Colour of the said Patent,
And to Report their Opinions to the Court thereupon
Now for a smach as it appeareth to this Court that
the said Clerk of the Market hath since the
makeing the said last mentioned Order persisted
and doth yet persist to have a Jurisdiction over
divers of his Majesty< no role > 's Subjects by colour of
his said Patent, who live out of and at a great
distance from the Little Virge , And that he
exhibited an Indictment which was found
at the last Generall Quarter Sessions of the Peace
holden for this County on Tuesday the fourteenth
day of January now last against Richard Norwood< no role >
of the Town of Uxbridge in the said County
Gentleman high Constable of one Division within
the Hundred of Elthorne in the Same County for
unlawfully and contemptuously Neglecting and
refuseing to appear before the said Thomas Robe< no role >
and John Matthews< no role > Clerk of the Market of the
Kings household at the Chequer Inn in Uxbridge
aforesaid on the fourth day of October now last
at Eleven of the Clock in the forenoon to make
a Return of a Warrant granted under the hand
