his authority upholding Supporting and abetting the Said
Robert Jennison< no role > in his contemptuous behaviour towards
the Said high Constable and the warrant by him executed,
That the Said Committee thought it became them to desire
the Said Francis Jenison< no role > to attend and give Some account
of this proceeding, And therefore by their Order a Letter
was wrote to him by the Clerk of the peace dated
Sixteenth of November last (a copy of which is annexed)
marked 4) giveing him notice of the Said complaint
against him for dischargeing the Said Robert Jennison< no role >
who was comitted to New Prison at Clerkenwell for
obstructing and threatning James Sharpless< no role > Gent
high Constable of Holborn Division in the execucon
of his Office being upon a Search for discovery of Street
Robbers and other Malefactors, and desireing he
would be present at Hicks hall on the Saturday then
next at ten in the forenoon and give them an account
concerning the Said matter, and of what Bail he had
taken for the appearance of the Said Robert Jennison< no role >
at the next Sessions of the peace for Middx, which Letter
was proved to the Committee to have been delivered
to the Said Francis Jenison< no role > on Tuesday the nineteenth
day of the Said November accordingly, And at a
Meeting of the Committee on Saturday the 23d. of
the Same Month the Clerk of the peace produced a
Letter from the Said Francis Jenison< no role > to him dated
the Same Saturday morning hereunto annexed
and marked, 5 pretending that he had not received
the Clerk of the peace 's Letter till the day before (vizt.)
Friday the twenty Second, and urgeing affairs of
the last consequece in excuse of his not appearing
at the Said Committee, and desiring him to
acquaint the Committee that he had take £100.
