preventing Such disorders as are the cause of the great increase of
Street robberys and other felonys, To which Committee It was
referred to give Such orders and direccons. as they Should think
proper for the better execucon. of his Maties. Commands and to
consider of and lay before this Court what other measures
might be necessary or proper to be pursued more effectually
to answer the ends proposed as also to propose & lay before the
Court Such Representacons of any other matters or of any
difficultys or obstruccons. in this Service which Should appeare
or occurr to them to the intent that proper direccons might
be given or applicacon. made thereupon, and that such
difficultys and obstruccons might be thereby removed
which Report Settsforth an account of the proceedings of
the Said Committee in relacon to the premisses and to
which Report the Retorns of his Maties. Justices of the peace of
this County assembled at the respective Petty Sessions holden for
the purposes aforesaid in Holborne Division Finsbury
Division and the Tower Division within the weekly Bills
of Mortality in this County are annexed, This Court Doth
approve of the Said Report and doth order that a
Representacon be drawn and made thereupon to the
Said Lord Viscount Townshend to be Signed by his Maties.
Justices of the peace of this County assembled at this present
Generall Sessions and that the Said Retorns be annexed to
the Said Representacon.

Whereas the Committee of his Maties. Justices of the peace
of this County appointed by an Order of the last Generall Quarter
Sessions of the peace for this County bearing date the
fourteenth day of October last for the better Execucon. of his
Majesties commands Signifyed in a Letter from the right
honble. the Lord Viscount Townshend one of his Maties.
principal Secretarys of State to the Justices of the peace
of this County to use their endeavours to Suppress and
