The life

Order, mutatis mutandis, for appointing Henry Mackris< no role > Gent high
Constable within the hundred of Edmonton in the room of Edward
Hunsdon
< no role > Gent.

P Adjorn ven is nono die Aprilis 1725 .

Order touching the
appointing of New high
Constable of Kensington
Division.}

Whereas according to the Tenor of an Order made at the General Quarter
Sessions of the peace holden for this County by adjornment on
Thursday the fifteenth day of January one thousand seven
hundred and eighteen no high Constable in this County ought to
continue in his Office above the space of three Years, And Whereas
John Jones< no role > Gent high Constable of Kensington Division in this County
hath served the said Office of high Constable for the space of three
Years and upwards, And the Justices of the peace of this County
inhabiting within the said Division haveing not yet retorned to this
Court the name of a person fit to be high Constable of the same Division
in the room of the said John Jones< no role > , It is Ordered by this Court that it
be And it is hereby recomended unto his Maties Justices of the peace
of this County inhabiting within Kensington Division aforesaid to
transmit to the Court of the next General Sessions of the peace to be
holden for this County the name or names of such person or persons
as they shall think fit to be high Constable of the said Division in the
room of the said John Jones< no role > , to the intent that the Court may then
appoint a proper high Constable in his stead.

The like order,

mutatis mutandis, to the Justices inhabiting in or near the Hundred
of Spelthorne as to William Chandler< no role > Gent High Constable within
that Hundred.

Keeper of Newgate to
attend the Court at
Hicks hall }

It is Ordered by this Court that William Pitt< no role > Gent Keeper of his
Maties Goal of Newgate attend this Court at Hicks Hall in St. John
Street in this County on Saturday the tenth day of April instant at
three of the clock in the Afternoon to give an accompt of such matters
and things as shall be required of him by this Court.

P adjorn Sabti decimo die Aprilis 1725.

Information being given to this Court that the dead body of a person
(who dyed a prisoner in his Maties Goal of Newgate) was kept four days
in the said Goal without being buryed, and that the keeping of such
dead body so long a time without interment is a misdemeanour in the
person or persons by whose default the same happened, It is Ordered by
this Court that it be and it is hereby recomended and referred unto Sr.
John Gouson< no role > Knt . Sr . Isaac Tillard< no role > Knt. Robert Thornhill< no role > John
Milner William Wickham< no role > John Mohun< no role > John Rydo< no role > John Fuller< no role >
William Cotesworth< no role > John Beaver< no role > John Ellis< no role > Gwin Vaughan< no role > and
George Howard< no role > Esqrs Justices of the peace for this County or any three
of them to inquire into the truth of the premisses and inform
themselves by such ways as they shall think proper, by whose
means or by whose default it happened that such dead body was
