Upon reading the Report of John Fuller< no role > Alexander Ward< no role >
and Matthew Hewitt< no role > Esquires three of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for this County, to whom, amongst others, It
was referred by Order of Court to View the Carpenters,
Bricklayers, Plumbers and Plaisterers Work and
Materials alledged by John Warden< no role > Carpenter to be
by him provided and done for Repairing the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell in this County, according to
an Estimate formerly given in to the Court of Sessions
of the Peace for this County, and to see if the same be
well and Sufficiently done and performed, and to
Consider whether in their Judgements he deserves
for the same and the Materials by him found the
Sume of Eighty four pounds alledged to be due to
him for the said Work and Materials, or any and
what other Sume, and to certify their Opinions
touching the Premisses unto the Court of Sessions of
the Peace for this County, The said Comittee of Justices
have thereby Certifyed that they have viewed the Work
above mentioned the said John Warden< no role > being present
who presented to them his Accompt of the said Work
by him so done containing in Substance the following
Items, (Vizt.)

For 66 Square of Tyleing£59.8s.-
For Plaistering and Lathing£5.0s.-
For Plumbers Work£4.2s.-
For Carpenters Work£15.10s.-
£84.0s.-

But this Accompt being (as the said Comittee of Justices
are of Opinion) too generall and the said Warden as he
hath owned not being able to give them any better or
more particular Accompt than as aforesaid the said
Justices caused the said Work to be measured by a
Person experienced in that Business in the presence
of the said John Warden< no role > and two of his Sons who
Understand measuring, which said Person Ordered by
