peace for this County or any three of them to [..]
[..] Survey and View the
ruinous highways or Roads by the said Act directed to be
amended, and to inquire of the Duty's and Toll received in
pursuance of the said Act, And in case they found any
misapplicacon of the Moneys levyed by the said Act or
any abuses of the power and authority thereby
granted, thereupon to certifie the same to the Justices
of the peace at their then next Generall Quarter Sessions
to be holden for the said County, And Whereas the said
Charles Medlycott< no role > dyed since the making of the said
Order, And the other Referrees above named having
informed this Court that they have made a considerable
progress in peruseing the Journalls and Books of Accompt
of the Dutys and Toll received by the said Trustees or
their Agents in pursuance of the said Act but that the
same being long and tedious they cannot fully adjust
their accompts nor have a present discovery of their
management touching the premisses unless the time limitted
by the said recited Order be enlarged, Whereupon It is
Ordered by this Court that the time limitted by the said
recited Order for transacting the matters therein
contained be enlarged untill the next Generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace to be holden for this County, And that
the Surviving Referrees or any three of them be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered to act in the premisses
in as full and ample manner as by the said recited order
was granted, And in case they find any misapplicacon of the
moneys levied by the said Act of Parliamt. or any abuses of
the power and authority thereby granted, thereupon to certify the
Same to his Majesty's Justices of the peace at their next Generall
Quarter Sessions to be holden for the said County.
