Holborne , Finsbury
& the Tower hambletts
to deliver to Chairman
an acct. in writing on
the first day of every
Sessions touching the
exemcon of the
publique Orders Etc

Whereas divers Orders have been made by this Court
for the suppressing vice immorality & prophaness, and
for the removeall & punishmt. of Drivers of
wheelbarrows, Singers of Seditions ballads, beggars
all such persons as bring their cellar doors into the
foot way & other Nusances of what kind so ever and
for the better obligeing the high Constables petty
Constables Headboroughs & other Officers to doe
their respective Dutys, Notwithstanding which
this Court takeing notice of the remissness of the
severall Officers in putting the sd. Orders in
execucon, Doth think fit and Order that for the
future the severall high Constables of the severall
Divisions of Holborne, Finsbury, & the Tower hambletts
doe on the first day of every sessions (whether Generall or
Quarter) deliver to the Chairman of this Court an
accompt in writing how and in what manner the severall
Orders heretofore made or which shall hereafter be
made by this Court touching the premisses have been
obeyed & putt in execucon by the respective petty
Constables Headboroughs & other Officers within their
respective Divisions and at the same time deliver
to the said Chairman the retorus of the petty
Constables and of such disorderly persons houses &
other Nusances in their respective Divisions as they
shall know or are informed ought to be removed
or punished, And this Court doth further declare
that they are resolved to punish with severity
such high Constables petty Constables Headboroughs
or other Officers as they shall find to be negligent
in the execucon of their Offices, And doth therefore
Order that a coppy of this Order be forthwith
delivered to the severall high Constables of
Holborn , Finsbury & the Tower hambletts.
