The Information of William Brown< no role > Woodapprehended and
brought before me Paul Le Mesurice< no role > Esquire one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the City of London .Who being upon
Oath saith
and charged with Felony, and who is by the said
Justice admitted an Evidence on Behalf of the Brown, Who, being
on Oath, saith, that he hath been acquainted with Thompson the Prisoner
at the Bar, about six or seven Weeks, and with Samuel Greenough< no role > and
George Bentley< no role > with whom he has been concerned in a Fastpad Robbery
him in after particularly mentioned. Greenough six or seven Years
and Bentley about five Weeks Says that the first Felony he
ever committed was in Company with an Samuel Mockree in stealing
Manner followingLead from an House for which he was committed
to Prison and tried at the Old Bailey and acquitted for Want of Evidence

And this Informant further saith that the
only following Felony which he ever committed sons that for which
he was stands charged by John Judson< no role > now present. Says that
his Accomplicis in the said Felony well William Thompson< no role > and Samuel
Greenough, that as to George Bentley< no role > he was not with them or in
any Way concerned Says that he met Thompson and Greenough
walking together in Air Street Bothnal Green about eight o'Clock
in the Evening on the eleventh of July last, and Thompson he [..]
verily [..] believes asked him to go out with them, which he
contented to do Says that they walked together and in a Field
called Globe Field , they met John Judson< no role > , the Prosecutor Says
that he laid hold of him by the Cellar and the Prisoner Thompson
and himself demanded his Money, which he gave to Thompson
Says that the Prosecutor making a Resistance the Informant struck
him with a Stick and Thompson pusht him down Says that
when he was so down Thompson took his Watch out of his Pocket,
Informant took on Knee Buckle and Greenough took the Buckles
from his Shoes Says that Greenough told the Prosecutor if he made
a Noise, then were two Fellows before, who if he made any Noise
would serve him the same. Says there was nobody before but
it was only said to intimidate the Prosecutor. Says that Greenough
had a Cutlass and that some Person coming up at the Tine of
such Robbery he told him if he made any Notice or attempted to
interfere, he would cut him down. Says that they then left
[..] the Prosecutor and went to the Sign of the two Brewers in
King Street Spital Fields , where they scipped together and agreed
