first day of October instant when this Deponent returned to
Town and hoped and believed that he should have been in
time to Prosecute the said Henry Smith< no role > for the said Offence
which this Deponent fully meant and intended to have done
with effect according to the tenor of the said Recognizance
but this Deponent positively saith that he did not know or
believe that any Session would be held previous to this
Deponents return to London as aforesaid And Lastly this
Deponent saith that the reason why his Prosecution above
mentioned was not carried on with effect was entirely owing
to the reasons aforesaid and not to any Affection or favor Fee
or reward had or received or any Promise of Fee or reward
from the said Henry Smith< no role > or any Person or Persons on his
behalf And this Deponent George Evans< no role > for himself saith
that he this Deponent did attend the other Deponent Edward
Davis as his Apothecary during his illness above stated
until he left Town on the said Twenty eighty day of August
last as aforesaid when he went to Margate by the advice and
with the privity and Consent of this Deponent it being then
and still this Deponents Opinion that the same was
absolutely fit and proper towards the re establishment of
the said Edward Davis< no role > 's health from the Fever and Ague
under which he had then lately laboured as before mentioned.
